9 Iran animations to vie at Constantine's Gold Coin festival

Nine Iranian animations are to vie at Constantine's Gold Coin - International Animated Film Festival for Children and Youth.

Ahmad Khoshniat’s ‘Fashion Nazi’ and ‘For Freedom’, ‘Icky’ by Parastoo Cardgar, ‘Dash Akol’ by Hajar Mehrani, Marzieh Kheirkhah’s ‘In the Crosshairs’, ‘Nobody’ directed by Elham Toroghi, Saeed Mayahy and Hamid Jamali’s ‘Swan Lake’, ‘Doggy’ by Hamid Borzooey and Babak Nazari’s ‘Elephants Playmate’ are the Iranian animations that are to vie at the competition section of the festival.

The animations will compete with works from France, Spain, US, Russia, Poland, Germany and the Netherlands.

The International Animated Film Festival ‘Constantine’s Gold Coin’ is organized to promote cultural creativity of national and foreign filmmakers, the media wrote.

The event is to be held on July 25-29, 2017 in the Serbian city of Nis.
